Black Community Convention

 

In a time of economic and political crisis around the world, everyone is establishing their agenda and organizing to fulfill it. The question must be raised: what is the Black Community’s agenda?

The Black Community Convention will serve as a forum where the African community can establish our own agenda. There will be workshops dealing with the most critical question affecting our community: employment and economic development, housing, police –community relations and the upcoming elections, where the Black vote will prove to be the deciding vote.

The BCC will conclude with concrete resolutions and a plan of action for the Black community. We will go from discussion to action! Come to the Black Community Convention and help shape the future for the African community!

The BCC will feature panelists and speakers from different organizations and areas of expertise. The keynote presentation will be made by Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African Peoples Socialist Party.

When: Sat and Sun, July 28-29 .
